St. Bernard Church

Location: North Kingstown, RI

Built 2008- 2009, on farmland donated to the church, this new structure was needed to accommodate the growing population of the parish. The 12,000 s/f structure combined structural steel integrated with post and beam framing and trusses along with structurally insulated roof panels (SIP). The interior boasts 12’ tall windows, custom red oak trim, and polished concrete floors. The site itself was modified to accommodate both the existing wetlands and the high water table, raising the grade nearly four feet in many areas.
